2017 PhD Career Fair Affiliate Fact Sheet

Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 2:00pm-6:00pm (Setup begins at 1:00pm)

Lawn in between the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Buildings
Registration & Payments
Fee
$600 for the PhD Career Fair. This goes to cover the costs for each participating company, which entitles you to one table with a maximum of four representatives, shuttle services at the Galvez Field, break-time snacks and refreshments, and a box lunch for each representative. Payment may be made by credit card or check. Please make checks payable to Stanford University and mail to:

Deadline
Registration will close on November 1, 2017 for the PhD Career Fair. However, we expect to fill all the tables well in advance of the registration close date, so please register as soon as possible to assure your space.
On the Day
Tables
Please look for your table assignment.
Signs & Display
You may bring a sign and/or display that can accommodate a six foot table provided it does not interfere with adjacent tables or project into the area in front of the table. If your display spills over into another company table area, you may be asked to take it down.
Materials
You may bring a laptop, and/or other materials you wish to use or distribute to our students. Wireless access will be available in the tent. Downloading time may be slow in the tent so plan accordingly. Materials can be shipped to

Suggestions:
We strongly recommend that your researcher and/or lead technical professionals attend as well as HR representatives. We have found that students are most receptive to interviewing with companies when they have the opportunity to meet engineers, computer scientists, and technical professionals.
