2009 Career Fair Affiliate Fact Sheet
Where & When
Date & Time
Winter: Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 11:00am – 4:00pm (Setup begins at 10:00am)
Location
A tent on the Sequoia Lawn area between the Gates Computer Science and David Packard Electrical Engineering Buildings.
Important Parking Changes - NEW
Parking is available at the Galvez Field Parking Lot (on Campus Drive East and Galvez Street). Permits are NOT required. Charter buses will be provided about every 10 minutes:
- 9:30am to 11:15am – Galvez Field to Tent
- 4:00pm to 5:00pm – Tent to Galvez Field
Traveling outside of these hours, take the Stanford Marguerite B-line at:
- Alumni Center bus stop (across from the Galvez Field) to Via Ortega and Serra Mall. Walk ½ block down on Serra Mall.
If you like to purchase your own "metered" permits, you can do so at the Transportation Office located on 340 Bonair Siding for $12.
Registration & Payments
Fee
$500 per Career Fair or $750 for both covers the costs for each participating company, which entitles you to one six foot table with a maximum of four representatives, up to 2 parking permits, and a box lunch for each representative.
Payment may be made by credit card or check.

Registration closes on January 5, 2009 .
On the Day
Tables
One six–foot table per company.
Signs & Display
A sign and/or display that can accommodate a six foot table and provided that it does not interfere with adjacent tables. Any displays that spill over into other company table areas may be asked to be taken down

Food
Box lunch, afternoon snacks and refreshments for your representatives in Gates Building, room 400 & Fujitsu Lounge on the 4th floor.
Suggestions
We strongly recommend that your technical professionals attend as well as HR representatives. We have found that students are most receptive to interviewing with companies when they have the opportunity to meet engineers, computer scientists, and technical professionals.
