"Data Science: Exploring the Limits"

Abstract:

Despite momentum and great opportunities across the spectrum, Data Science will have tougher going in domains where (1) causality and explainability are critical (particularly where complex pathways are involved), (2) key signals are unknown or not accurately measurable, (3) experimental reproducibility is necessary, and (4) erroneous results are very problematic. This panel will illustrate these issues and the approaches that mitigate them.
